Denis Pudkov from Roscosmos to Participate in Discussion on CAE in 3D Printing
How does the additive technology industry benefit from CAE solutions? This issue will be discussed on October 5 at 3D Print Expo by leading experts from the largest companies and public corporations. Denis Pudkov from Roscosmos will also share his opinion.
Denis Pudkov is a Director of the Department of Supplier Management and Manufacturing Optimization at Roscosmos. The company explores outer space as well as constructs rockets and spaceports. Besides, Roscosmos is extensively applying additive technologies to implement projects.
The state corporation uses 3D printing to produce liquid-fueled engines for such launch vehicles as Soyuz-2, Soyuz-5, and Angara, which will allow to reduce the production labor intensity by 20%. In 2016, Roscosmos founded the Coordinating Council for the Development of Additive Technologies becoming an inter-branch platform for exchanging skills between integrated structures and organizations interested in the adoption of 3D printing in manufacturing.
