How to use 3D technologies in the construction industry? Find out at 3D Print Expo 2016

The best experts in the sphere of additive technologies will gather on November 17-18 in ECC Sokolniki at 3D Print Expo 2016 to discuss the development and implementation of 3D printing in various fields.

On the second conference day, November 18, issues of practical use of 3D instruments in various spheres will be reviewed. Every branch will be discussed in a separate block. And the first block will be dedicated to the topic “The use of 3D printing in architecture and construction”.

Can we use additive technologies in the construction industry right now? What do you need to know for this purpose? What difficulties can arise? These and many other questions will be considered in the corresponding block at 3D Print Expo 2016.

Many experts claim that 3D printing will soon become an integral part of construction industry. Researches in this field started in early 2000s, and today many large companies present unique projects on printing residential and office buildings of various forms and sizes.

3D printing allows building houses at lower cost, simpler and faster than traditional methods. But to implement additive technologies in the construction industry, it’s important to understand many subtleties. Specifically, the quality of 3D printed residential facilities directly depends on the experience, practice, functionality of equipment, expandable materials and many other f actors. Namely these subtleties will be highlighted by experts in the sphere of additive construction in the block dedicated to «The use of 3D printing in architecture and construction”.

The following speakers will give presentations at the conference as part of 3D Print Expo 2016:

  • Rinat Brylin – CEO at Yekaterinburg Cement Factory, who has recently printed an exact copy of the watchtower from Game of Thrones series;
  • Anna Chan-Yun-Tai – project manager at Apis Cor company, which created a printer that can print houses from inside;
  • Maxim Evdokimov – specialist that worked as a project manager of construction sites in Moscow, Tyumen and Irkutsk.

Besides that, the exhibition itself will feature leading companies that work with builders and architects that use 3D printing equipment in their work:

  • EcoFORM 3D;
  • Top 3D Shop;
  • SPECAVIA;
  • Apis Cor.

Register and come to ECC Sokolniki on November 17-18 to attend the 3D Print Expo 2016 conference and find out about the practical aspects of 3D printing. If you would like to visit only the construction block, there is a possibility to buy a ticket only for the second conference day.
