At 3D Print Expo a scientist will tell about the use of ceramic materials in 3D printing
3D printing using ceramics and composites allows creating singularly beautiful and functional devices of all possible shapes. You can learn about the subtleties of additive manufacturing with the help of these expandable materials at the largest in the CIS region professional event in the sphere of 3D printing – 3D Print Expo 2016.
On 17-18 November ECC Sokolniki will host the IV annual international exhibition of innovative additive technologies 3D Print Expo. The event will feature the biggest in the CIS countries industry conference, where presentations will be given by the best specialists in the sphere of 3D printing.
Among them is Vladimir Promakhov – senior scientist of the Tomsk State University and representative of InTech-M LLC.
On the first conference day – November 17 – the specialist will cover the topic “Ceramic and composite materials in additive manufacturing”.
Speaker will touch the following issues:
- international classification of additive technologies;
- modern equipment for 3D printing using ceramic and composite materials;
- characteristics and properties of modern expandable materials, difficulties related to synthesis of powders and products;
- industrial 3D printing using ceramic and composite materials;
- comparative analysis of foreign experience in the development of additive technologies.
About speaker
Vladimir Promakhov graduated with honours the physics and technology department of the Tomsk State University and passed the thesis defence on the topic of structural phase transformations in ceramics under thermal influence. Afterwards specialist regularly completed postgraduate studies in the sphere of ceramic and composite materials.
Currently, the candidate of technical sciences works as a research scientist in InTech-M LLC – a small innovation enterprise, founded as part of “START” program of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology. Besides that, senior scientist of the TSU has more than 39 published works, often gives subject reports at industry conferences and leads large scientific projects.
Professional conference dedicated to advanced 3D printing technologies – 3D Print Expo 2016 – will take place in ECC Sokolniki on 17-18 November.
