Three-dimensional human model in 30 seconds: 3D Print Expo art gallery to show giant 3D scanner
An art gallery of 3D Print Expo 2018 will show not only incredible 3D printed art objects but also equipment becoming a breakthrough for the industry. One of such exhibits is Texel’s 3D scanner. It allows to scan people and bulk items in order to create their three-dimensional models.
Texel is a resident of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. Founded in 2014, the company was included in the top list of the startup companies according to the Russia Beyond the Headlines project and was ranked first in Russia in such global contests as Seedstars World 2015, Pioneers, and StartupSauna.
According to developers, Texel has designed the world’s fastest 3D scanner. Due to this solution, all people across the globe can obtain their own virtual models in 30 seconds. Besides, 60 000 individuals have already seized this opportunity.
Texel solutions are used by dozens of companies: 3D photographic studios, virtual fitting rooms, sports brands to assess fitness progress, cosmetology companies for recommendations and forecasting.
At the 3D Print Expo art gallery, attendees will be able to examine two models of Texel scanners: compact Texel Portal MX and full-size Texel Portal BX.
